Vancouver Island, British Columbia Schooner Cove is a peaceful and somewhat secluded beach at the north end of Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park. It is one of my favorite romantic places in the park. Here, the water and sand are reflecting the colors of the late afternoon sky, giving an abstract look to the photo.

Sandhill Creek, Pacific Rim National Park, Vancouver Island, British Columbia Sandhill Creek flows in wide curves into the ocean. These plants were growing out of the sand, with a sheen of water still left by the lowering tide. It looked so peaceful in its simplicity.
