Bridalveil Creek, Yosemite Valley This is another photo taken during a time of very high waterflow in June, 2011. This is below the falls, as the creek almost overflowed its banks, rushing on its way to the Merced River.
Eastern Sierra I was attracted by the contrast between the blue of the water, caused by the shadowy light, and the warmer reflections of the sunrise.
Eastern Sierra The autumn colors of the aspen paint not only the trees but the creek itself. I love the ways nature paints a scene like this. It's a small scene of great beauty just waiting to be appreciated. The fall of water is only about six inches high.
