Kennedy Lake, Vancouver Island, British Columbia Almost the same viewpoint, but a different time of day with clear weather gave the lake a much different look. The gentle golden glow of the early morning sun gave even lighting to the whole scene. The morning mist was dissipating but still softened the view of the far shore.
Olympic National Park, Washington The clear waters of Lake Crescent are over 1,000 feet deep. It was formed by the glaciers during the last ice age. This spot at the eastern end of the lake has great sunset views.
