Serene, Majestic, Ungovernable
Sunrise At Kennedy Lake, Vancouver Island, British Columbia
Every time we are in Ucluelet, I try to catch the sunrise at this spot on Kennedy Lake. Once, as I waited for the light, a black bear passed along the shore a ways behind me. Since then, I've made more noise while waiting for the show. Every morning is unique, but the calm water this June day made for a soft photo that conveys what I love about this spot.
