Death Valley National Park
This is an iconic spot looking west from Zabriskie Point with Manly Beacon in the foreground and the Panamint Range in the background. Early morning colors here are remarkable and varied. There are interesting photos in almost any direction.
Manly Beacon was named for William Manly, who helped lead the forty-niners out of Death Valley during the gold rush in 1849.
