This image was composed from 25 overlapping photos. I liked the gentleness of the light at this point above the canyon. This is one of the longest continuously inhabited landscapes in the United States, and as you see in the foreground, Navajo families continue to farm here. Further down the canyon is the White House ruins, site of the famous 1942 Ansel Adams photograph.
